Well..... after countless, I mean countless ventures out to find the perfect home we found it! It is in Mill Creek, exactly where we wanted to be, it needs lots of love (if you know what I mean!) but it will be ours. It is definitly a dimond in the rough.
What this means for our family? STABILITY since Scott and I have been married we have moved 8, yes 8 times. This will mean I can hang pictures on the walls and make desions without having to ask anyone permission. This means when we finally bring home a baby he/she will have their own bedroom. I wont have to worry about where we will move at the end of our lease, we can live in this house forever if we want!!
Honestly this the first good news we have had in I dont know how long.
So, we can say good bye to long drives to visit friends or commuting to work, good bye storing our clothes on a bed in another room, good bye tip-toeing around as not to wake anyone, good bye filling our gas tank 5 times a week! HELLO FREEDOM!
It almost doesnt seem real yet, and I know we have alot of work ahead of us such as scraping off the beautiful popcorn ceiling, paint and carpet and thats before we move in. After that it will be remodeling the kitchen, all new appliances, remodeling the bathroom, yard work, new doors and the list will go on.
I am hoping we will close soon enough to get this all done so we can get a Christmas tree up and enjoy my favorite time of year...one could only hope!!
